How are you? I’m so sorry I delayed this letter till now. Too many things are fighting for my attention but I’m glad I finally get to write you this one. In this we’ll talk about trusting the magic of your individuality.
If you need to write this somewhere and remind yourself every morning, please do.
“Even if everyone does the things you do, nobody can do them the way of you. There is a flavor to you that cannot be duplicated”
Sis, have you ever felt and entertained the restraint of embarking on certain projects just because someone else is already doing something like it? Truthfully, we all want to be perceived as geniuses with original ideas. We want to be that person with the never before seen talent and skill. We feel the need to be better than anyone else in the pond because we feel that it’s the only way we’ll get the admiration and respect we desire. The truth however is that genius only emerges once in a million people. Yet, it is no excuse for the others not to attempt ingenuity.
There is really nothing new under the sun but you and everything else is common to all men but you. There is a magic to your touch and a flavor to you that has never been witnessed throughout history and so even when you find yourself doing something commonplace, you must trust the “you effect” to make the results uncommon. For example, everybody makes babies but as baby as they all are, your baby is YOUR baby. Simply because there is none like you, there cannot be any like your product. This is not a statement of pride but truth. It doesn’t mean you are better or less than anyone, it simply means you are unique.
But then you must know that whatever you do is a reflection of who you are so instead of paying much attention to the quality of your product, pay enough attention to the quality of yourself and all the components that makes you you. The only foolproof way of improving the quality of your product and everything that originates from you is to increase the quality of your life and person. Your baby will look like you and behave like you so if you want a good baby, become a good you. As like begets like, excellent begets excellence.
Also, you must strive to ensure that whatever is born of you is an improvement on you. Our products are permitted to be improvements on who we are but this can only be possible when we are committed to the continued process of personal growth and development.
Finally sis, birthing is not competition but a proof of life and obedience to the fruitfulness mandate. So stop excusing barrenness. Celebrate yourself, be happy to reproduce in all areas of your efforts and trust the magic of your individuality. Even when all you find is an old tune, write your own lyrics and trust the magic of you. There is a method to you, an edge that sets you apart, find it, hone it and trust it.
Go on and bring forth!
I love you.
